Apps for Boycotting U.S. Goods Top Denmark’s App Stores

European users started boycotting U.S products after Trump’s threats to take control on Greenland (which is a Danish territory). Actually, two apps are highly downloaded from Danish App Store recently and enlisted them in the top 5 downloaded apps. These apps helps users to determine whether the product is manufactured in U.S and also suggest alternatives that are manufactured locally. Danish App Store is widely used in Greenland and Denmark and these two apps are at the top download list not only on the Danish App Store but also on Google Play Store.

As per market report provider Appfigures, NonUSA and Made O’Meter are the two apps that are in the top downloaded app list on both iOS and Android.

On Wednesday, NonUSA reached 1st in top downloaded app. Earlier on Tuesday, this app was ranked at 6th position and even before on 9th January, it was on 441th position. On the other hand, Made O’Meter has now reached the top 5 app on iOS and Android app stores.

What these Apps Do?

The best feature of these apps is that they can identify the manufacturing location of the product additionally it will show you the local alternatives of the products. Which seems to be a great hit in two ways, first, boycotting U.S products and secondly, promoting local products which will definitely help the local businesses grow and ultimately, the nation.

What else users boycotted?

It seems, European users wants the U.S products to be boycotted from the root. Not only the products, but most of the travellers has also cancelled their vacations and tour plans to U.S. Many has also cancelled the U.S based streaming services subscription like Netflix.
