Some days ago, we have published a news with the title Apple May Reveal Gemini Powered Siri in February. But this doesn’t seems to be happening. It seems the new Siri may not be relaunched this year. While testing, Apple has found many errors with the new Siri and it seems it will take a good amount of time to fix the same. In testing, new Siri has been working inconsistantly. Sometimes it is taking longer than usual to respond to queries and sometime its not even responding. Also it is found that the new Siri is very slow and it is reported that Apple needs months of time to fix these issues.
Apple has unveiled the Siri in 2024 along with the promise that the AI assistant will help you finding your specific photo or track some details. It will also help in editing photos and much more. It is expected that the AI will be launched this year the company said “It’s going to take us longer than we thought to deliver on these features and we anticipate rolling them out in the coming year,”. Company also said that the AI enabled Siri will be made available with the iOS update 26.4 which is planned to be released in March 2026. But it seems, we might only get some new capabilities this year.
Apple and Google has confirmed that Google’s Gemini AI will power Apple’s Siri AI. The company said “After careful evaluation, Apple determined that Google’s Al technology provides the most capable foundation for Apple Foundation Models and is excited about the innovative new experiences it will unlock for Apple users,”.
