At CES 2026, Lenovo has unvieled a new series of gaming laptops. It has opened a new concept for the designers to develop and manufacture the laptops. These new high end laptops allows the users to expand their screens and enhance the experience of competitive gaming. These laptops are aimed to target the esports professionals who can take their device while travelling.
The screen size offers 3 modes like focus mode which keeps the screen size to 16 inches. Second mode keeps the screen size to 21.5 inches for enhanced experience and the third mode is competitive mode that have the widest screen size of 24 inches.
This new Legion pro concept is based on Legion pro 7i platform which uses top tier Intel core ultra processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphic card. The new RTX 50 series graphic card offers best AI performance and nextgen graphic fidelity with added support to DLSS 4 technology. AI engine+ has also been integrated which are powered by LA core system that has the capability to detects gameplay scenarios which boosts the frame rates and optimize system accordingly. This new AI based mechanism allows the system to maintain stable performance even when you are having competitive moments.
These new legion latops have a default screen size of 16 inches but you can expand the screen horizontally to 24 inches. With this new concept, the gamers wont have to compromize the with the screen size when they are travelling. These laptops are based on PureSight OLED gaming panel that unfolds on both the sides using motor and tension based mechanism. As per Lenovo, the panel maintains constant tension to the panel. Having a motor based mechanism, you will feel a bit of vibration and noise. Company has used the best quality material that ensures less friction making the OLED surface protected and safeguarding the OLED screen from wear.
